Entry Requirements

Here are some general guidelines on entry requirements.  Ultimately, these will depend on your chosen university and programme.

Academic qualifications

  • You will either have a recognised professional qualifications such as CFA or membership of a recognised accounting professional body.
  • or, a first degree in a relevant discipline at a minimum degree level (generally equivalent to either a 2:1 or 2:2 under the British undergraduate grading scheme).
  • plus, there may be a requirement for relevant working experience.
  • Some universities might have GMAT requirements.

Note : Mature students may be accepted from a non-standard academic background subject to significant working experience at a senior level.

English language proficiency

  • There is usually no requirement for a specific qualification in English language if you have already studied in English for your first, or previous Masters, degree.
  • Otherwise, you are generally required to demonstrate proficient in English through, for example, an IELTS scores between 6.5 to 7.0 or a TOEFL scores between 580 and 640.

Minimum computer specifications

  • Good, recent, editions of PC or Mac with reliable broadband connections.

Specific computer (hardware and software) requirements can be obtained from the relevant university once you have chosen your desired degree.
